Stocks in rotation
These 17 tokenized equities are the full prize pool. Every round draws one of them uniformly at random, subject to a liquidity filter.

How one gets picked
The draw is uniform across every name that passes the liquidity filter. A blue chip is not weighted above a smaller name, and an expensive share is not less likely than a cheap one.
The liquidity filter
Before drawing, the keeper quotes the entire pot into every candidate through Jupiter and keeps only those where price impact stays under 3%. This exists so a large pot does not get dumped into a thin market and hand the winner a prize worth much less than the pot that bought it.
The practical effect is that a small pot can draw from the whole list, while a large pot draws from the deeper names only. If nothing clears the 3% bar, the keeper falls back to the three cheapest routes and records a warning rather than voiding the round.
What xStocks are
xStocks are issued by Backed Finance. Each token is collateralised 1:1 by the underlying share, held with a regulated custodian. They trade on Solana as Token-2022 mints and are freely transferable, which is what makes them usable as prizes.
Technical properties worth knowing
- Token-2022, 8 decimals. Payouts go through the Token-2022 program, not the original SPL token program.
- No transfer hook. Verified on-chain: the hook program id is null, so transfers to arbitrary wallets are permitted and no allow-listing step is needed.
- Accounts are not frozen by default. A freshly created token account can receive a prize immediately.
- Scaled UI amount. These mints rebase. The share count is the raw amount multiplied by a rebasing factor, so naive division by the decimals under-reports a prize. Prize amounts shown here apply the multiplier.
- Permanent delegate. The issuer retains the ability to move these tokens. See Risks.
Changing the list
The catalogue lives in src/lib/stocks.ts. Adding or removing a name changes the pool for all future rounds. Past rounds are unaffected: each one records the mint it bought, so history stays accurate even if a name is later retired.
